I thought that the 2nd time would be easier... but so far it's proving to be just as hard... maybe even harder. My Gracie-girl will be getting on the bus with Isaac tomorrow morning and heading to her 1st day of Kindergarten.
How did this little baby in my arms:
and love her big brother unconditionally:
How did the days go by so quickly to arrive at this moment where I'm sending her out on her own? I know she's ready, even though she cries and say she will miss me. I will miss her. She's my little buddy... always by my side whether in the kitchen, going to the grocery store, or to a doctor appointment. Wherever I go, she is there. Tomorrow she goes where I won't be able to be with her. This makes both of us sad... though I hide my tears, hers flow freely. My independent, outgoing little girl knows this is a big change, a big step in her life and she is scared. So, I gently encourage her and show her how much fun this is going to be and tell her how quickly the days will go by. She will be fine and will blossom and grow. And I can't wait to see what this year will bring for her. My baby girl... my little love... my Gracie-girl.
