Momma's Day Tea

On Wednesday I was invited to Isaac's preschool for a Mother's Day Tea. When we got there his teacher took our picture together to use later in a project. Then I was given a pin to wear with Isaac's picture on it so everyone knew who's mom I was.
Isaac was so excited to give me the gift he had made for me on Monday. It was a puzzle piece that he had decorated and had his picture on. It said "I love you to pieces". :)
His teacher had set up a variety of things for us to do together... the project with our picture, a coupon book, and many different "mom or family" related games. We had our tea and cookies in real tea cups. Isaac tried the tea, but decided that it wasn't for him and opted for the apple juice.
We played a game called Who's Mommy is it? where the mom's had to sit behind a curtain and read a few lines from a book and the kids would guess who it was. Then the kids had a turn behind the curtain and they would say "happy mother's day" and we would have to guess who's kid it was.
The kids just giggled and laughed their way through the whole thing :) Finally, the kids recited a poem and then did a little routine/dance to the Return to Pooh Corner song. It was so cute and they were so proud of themselves!
It was a very fun and special time spent with my little boy! :)
(this is a picture we took that day of Isaac with his teachers)
